Adam was born and raised in Denver, Colorado . He attended Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon where he received a BA in Psychology. It was in college that he discovered his early interest in editing. On a whim, he took an elective course in documentary form and immediately found himself cutting in a dark basement consumed by the process.
Not long after, Adam moved to Los Angeles to attend film school at Loyola Marymount University. Upon receiving his MFA in Film Production, he began working in the early days of internet video, shooting some of the first web series including Clark and Michael, (Michael Cera and Clark Duke) and Wainy Days (David Wain). Missing the quiet creativity of the cutting room however, he found his way back to editorial first as a Post PA on Pride and Glory (Newline Cinema) and eventually working as an assistant editor on such shows as The Mindy Project (NBC), The League (FX), and Awkward (MTV).
Today, Adam works as a picture editor across all the major streamers and studios. While he enjoys most genres, he loves working on stories that challenge him to think and work differently and push him outside of his comfort zone. Some of his notable credits include Minx (Starz), Genera+ion (HBO Max), Kidding (Showtime), You’re the Worst (FX), and Casual (Hulu).
Adam currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and kids.
